Prior to joining Vaccinogen, Inc., Drs. van der Linde worked with Intracel Europe as Managing Director, The Netherlands and Switzerland, responsible for development and implementation of the marketing strategy of OncoVAX®, as well as budgeting and legal activities. He has also served as a member of the Swiss Supervisory Management Board. From 1990 to 2004, Drs. van der Linde worked as an oncology business unit manager with Bristol Myers Squibb in The Netherlands.
He has been responsible for the introduction in The Netherlands of Megace, Carboplatin, Taxol, UFT, and Etopophos and in Europe for Maxipime, Skenan, Etopophos and Hydrea. He was managing director of The Geon Foundation for Regional and Economic Research. In the beginning of his career, he worked as a researcher for the Amsterdam Planning Office, Dept. of Economy and Regional Development. Drs. van der Linde received a MSC and M.A. in Regional Economics and Town and Country Planning and in Human Geography from the Free University of Amsterdam.
