Dr. Parker has been employed in the pharmaceutical industry for over 35 years, during which time he has held positions in research, development, technical services, validation, quality control, quality assurance, compliance, regulatory affairs and independent consulting. For most of his career he has functioned at a Vice President level of Corporate Quality Assurance & Compliance or Regulatory Affairs in a variety of companies ranging from start up biotechnology companies to large pharmaceutical corporations. These Companies include Merck and Co., Inc.; Praxis Biologics Inc.; Centocor, Inc.; Aradigm Corporation; Immune Response Corporation; Intracel and MedImmune Vaccines, Inc.
Dr. Parker has worked with a variety of product categories including microbial enzymes, vaccines, antibiotics, therapeutic monoclonal antibodies, diagnostics and medical devices for drug delivery. He is currently holding the position of President of Tech Manage Associates, Inc., a consulting company serving the biopharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Parker holds a Ph.D. degree in Radiation Biology and Genetics from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and he also completed a two-year postdoctoral program in Physiological Chemistry/Biochemistry at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
